CycleTO is planning on hosting an event on Saturday, March 23rd from 11 AM to 2 PM. The event will include:
- CycleTO will be setting up their tent and will have two cycling educators to provide ABC checks and light tune ups;
- Ben Nobleman Community Orchard volunteers will provide tours;
- CycleTO will also have a craft station for kids to decorate insect traps and bird feeders and/or just draw;
- GO Dutch will be onsite with a display, a Cargo bike and some fun stickers to give out.
This will be a great opportunity for people to visit local businesses and reacquaint themselves with the area now that the construction is mostly gone. It will also be a good time to have open discussions about the Complete Street project (which will eventually see permanent bike lanes installed across the corridor) and how it can be properly integrated into our complex neighborhood that encompasses the Allen Road.
